This morning I’m at that coffee shop again that has the large black-and-white photo on the wall, of downtown Cheyenne, after a snowfall, from probably the 1950s. And I’m noticing now, as I look at it, that the sign of the movie theater that once was there, in the building where presently the coffee shop is, is visible. And that you can almost, but not quite, read the names of the movies that were playing on the day that the photograph was taken, where the titles are stenciled on the marquee in big black lettering.
