Last night I watched the first several minutes of the Ingmar Bergman movie Through a Glass Darkly. I would’ve watched more of it but I was already in bed and was too tired to follow the dialogue and the complex interpersonal relationships of the characters as closely as those things deserve. One of the actors in that movie is Max von Sydow, who played the title role in the 1973 movie The Exorcist. He is also in another Ingmar Bergman movie that I like, The Seventh Seal.
