Which I suppose is why, in Christian theology, there is the recognition or hope that the righteous dead who couldn’t have ‘known’ Christ, due to the accident of their birth, in the chronology of salvation history, will yet be gathered into what Scripture refers to as ‘Abraham’s Bosom,’ and will experience the beatific vision, according to the Justice and Mercy of God.
