I want to get back into photography, as a hobby. Not because I’m particularly good at it but because it makes me happy. Or anyway makes me calm. Yesterday I took a photo with my phone of a tree in the parking lot of a strip mall here in Cheyenne. The tree was full of yellow leaves that hadn’t yet fallen. The sky was very blue behind it. A red fire hydrant was nearby. I’d just come out of a bookstore, and was walking to my car.
